Target Tuesday

Well hello there!  I’m changing it up for Target Tuesday.  Today I’ll be giving you a peek at a couple things I’ve ordered for myself lately.  Target recently released three big collaborations and unsurprisingly, they sold out very quickly.  However, I snagged these items for myself and a couple other non-collaboration items (all in stock, BTW).

Target Tuesday

This Sandy Liang dress surprised me in a good way.  Sandy Liang is known for her athleisure but this dress is fun, feminine, and only $50!  It would honestly bee great for a cocktail hour or wedding!

The Nili Lotan sweater coat is cute but it’s HUGE.  Size down.  So, it’s very hefty, which is impressive for its price point.  It puts one of my Vince sweater coats to shame with its heft!

The A New Day sweater is impressive!  Also, I probably have to rotate some sweaters out of my closet this year and I really want this one.  It’s perfect oversized but not TOO much.

This Nili Lotan dress was the winner, in my humble opinion.  The pattern, the fit–all aces.  Wear with a blazer, sweater, One/Third jacket 10 (heh).

The plaid A New Day dress is a simple, wrap dress and honestly, it looks JUST like a Hunter Bell dress I just saw in an instagram ad.

Lastly, I’m sad to say the boots are *not* from Target.  They’re Isabel Marant (waiting for the IM x Target collab over here). I just got them and wanted to wear them for the twangy try-on.  I’ve had my eye on them for awhile and they’re a full size up, but think I need to keep them.  So, this is an ultimate high-low mix!

  • I saw the same instagram post for the plaid dress and I thought you had purchased it from there. So you are right, it seems like an excellent dupe for a much more expensive dress. Love shopping local but from time to time I have to also just be economical. And hey, we have local Targets that employ local people!
