Shop Your Closet: The Black Blazer

If you caught my instastories last week, you saw that I was shopping my closet and styling the oversized black blazer.  I actually have two of them (probably should have shopped the ol’ closet before I nabbed a second) and they fit identical (they’re old Zara and Everlane–the Everlane one is still available and it runs very oversized so you may want to size down).

The black blazer isn’t just a work essential–it’s a wardrobe staple.  You’ll wear it to nail a presentation at work and can just as easily wear it for date night.  I gravitate towards slightly oversized because you can make them look more casual, which makes them more versatile.  But, that’s why I love belting the oversized blazer–because it suddenly makes the piece a little more office appropriate.

And per your request, some ‘look for less’ versions of the Gucci belt (how I tie it is saved to my IG highlights!):

Under $50

Love the oblong shape of this buckle

This one is only $35!
