Summer Capsule Wardrobe
Contrary to all the content you’ll be seeing, summer is still here and will be here for awhile! Don’t let the lure of fall stop you from organizing your summer capsule wardrobe. Chances are, you already own a lot of these pieces but sometimes it’s nice to do a refresh and maybe add an item here or there.
So, turn on some music, clean out your closet and parse down your summer wardrobe (and maybe grab a few new things for it that you love!).
Summer Capsule Wardrobe
A MUST HAVE for me. I wear them to the beach, lake, running errands or out and about. Also, I live in my jean shorts and AGOLDE are worth the investment. I love the Parker style (bought a few years ago and they’re still perfect) but this year I bought the Reese as my postpartum body wanted something a little longer. I’m loving them–very flattering.
Normally with a capsule wardrobe, you’d go more neutral but after a year not doing anything social, I say get a fun print AND wear it over and over. It’s gorgeous!
I have the tan version of this tank and I wear it nonstop. It’s chic, slightly more elevated than a basic, ribbed tank, and I want t buy it in black now, too. Wear this with any shorts, jeans (especially white!) or skirts.
Everlane tees are priced right and are my favorite. Plus, they’re $18.
Sandals you can wear just as easily with a beautiful summer gown as with jean shorts are the ones you’ll be living in. Trust me–I live for a woven sandal.
Not sure about you, but my heel wearing has been minimal the past year but I like to don them every once in awhile! That’s why I included this Target pair; they won’t break the bank but look like you bought them at Shopbop.
It isn’t summer without a classic, withe denim. I am leaning more towards straight leg styles this year but I would wear any style white jean all summer. Get a pair you love and they’ll last for years (and they look great all year, in my humble opinion).
Go neutral like this white version or patterned, but either way, choose something you can wear with those jeans shorts and white jeans!
This little cutie gives me Bottega Veneta vibes (at a fraction of the cost), which is probably why I love it!
I can’t resist tortoise sunglasses…I’m not quite sure why, but they’ll always be part of my summer wardrobe. I love this style and they’re so well made for being under $70!
