Neutral Fall Looks (Featuring some H&M Gems)

I was looking for a midi-length satin-feel/silk skirt and I found this one on H&M . Well, I had to order enough to get free shipping so I found myself adding a few other things into my cart.  As always, there are some gems to be found at H&M and I always receive messages that you all love when I share them.  So, here are a few easy, neutral fall looks featuring pieces from H&M.  PLUS, a few tips for shopping at H&M:

  • I find the online store to be better at styling the merchandise, but…
  • There is usually more available in-store than online.
  • If an item is sold out online, try your local H&M!
  • Sizing runs slightly small.  I’m a true 2-4 but at H&M I’m more like a 4-6.  I tend to wear smalls in their sweaters because they are slightly generous.
  • Their sweaters are my favorite–they are by far the best bang for your buck in terms of quality and softness.  I wash them with my more expensive sweaters and they don’t pill instantly.

I also received questions about whether my H&M try-ons are sponsored–definitely not!  I always disclose sponsored posts and I started this blog because I LOVE to shop and style clothes.  I am all about that high-low mix and H&M and Zara are two of my favorite reasonable retailers.

If you want me to style anything else on here or IG stories, just drop it in the comments below!

See my last H&M try-on here (lots of this stuff is still available!)

H&M sweater (wearing a small), Re/Done jeans, shearling Birkenstocks (wearing narrow size and they run SMALL–size up a full size)

  • Could you please show different ways to wear the knit skirt from the last HM try-on? Love the co-ordinate set but having a hard time mixing it with something other than its matching turtleneck. Pinterest only shows women switching out the shoes to sneakers. Thanks!

  • How about a post on different ways to style the snakeskin bootie? I am on the fence about ordering a pair and would love some inspo!

  • Love the pants and the tan sweater you’re wearing. Personally, I find shopping online more convenient. But that’s just the lazy me speaking 😀 Hopefully this time around I’ll go into the store.
