This week’s #shopyourclosetseries is a little different because I’m not just styling one item; I’m keeping it general and showing you what I wear when I’m home with the kids. No day is the same when you’re running your kids around and I dress accordingly. But I will tell you one thing about my ‘mom style’–I don’t worry about getting stuff dirty. That’s what washing machines and dry cleaners are for, you know? That’s not to say I’ll be wearing my finest, all-white outfit to run errands with the kids, but as my kids have gotten a little older, I’m a little more lax with my wardrobe around them. This Rebecca Taylor dress is a great example; it’s silk and there’s a lot of white in the pattern, but it’s SO comfortable and so easy to run around in, so I’m not afraid to wear it around my kids. Will I be sitting in the mud with them? No, but I probably wouldn’t be doing that with them anyway (but I will happily watch them, ha). So if you’re a mom, here’s my plea to tell you to wear the clothes you have! Don’t let them collect dust in your closet; make a pledge to wear some of those old dresses you love or maybe bust out the jean shorts–change it up and keep that wardrobe spicy.
Your wardrobe is simply amazing!
