Oh, Mexico (See Jane Travel)
Here a few shots from my whirlwind trip to Mexico this past weekend. I didn’t get much beach time, which is code for letting you know that I came back sans tan. Nevertheless, it was so nice to just be in the sun for a few days, even if I was essentially running errands for part of it. On a related note, I feel so much more at ease about the wedding–planning from afar can be a tad stressful! It’s all coming together and it’ll be here before I know it. And in the meantime, enjoy my Photography 101.

I am not sure what kind of shoes you are looking for, but I was doing a little research last night for the blog and Kate Spade has a lot of beautiful shoes in fun colors. Also the BHLDN website is open now and I saw a pair of dreamy yellow shoes.

Hmmmm shoes…I suggest you 1) splurge and 2) buy something that you will definitely wear again. I dyed my satin-wedding beauties and they turned out great! Important question: what surface are you getting married on? Sand? This is key. If it is a unstable surface, but you want to wear heels, I suggest wedges.

I am all about the shoes, has you dress been hemmed? how tall is too tall? Or flats? Are you wanting to wear them over and over (I totally recommend – i love wearing mine all the chances i get) Im down to search and search for you!

As far as shoes go, BHLDN has some cute options, but maybe not so beachy? There are a lot of seller on Etsy that "do" wedding shoes and since they are often able to customize, you could get something really awesome!

thanks everyone! so, if you really want to help, i'm looking for a heel, around 3-3.5 inches (for sake of my dress). the wedding won't be in the sand, but rather outside on the lawn, so i'm not afraid of heels! i was hoping for a pale pink/nude peeptoe, or something of that nature but am open to anything!
