Once the warm weather is here to stay, I like to liven up my solid-heavy closet with an injection of bold prints. It’s not for every day but once in awhile, I need to go big or go home. Whether it’s a hot pink, floral print jumpsuit or palm leaf shoes, there are tons of ways to play with bold and colorful prints this spring–and there are so many inexpensive options at Nordstrom (like this Madewell striped tank for $35 that fulfills all my 90s child dreams…I think I had a version in 7th grade). That’s what I love about these pieces; it’s not a huge commitment, but I bet you, you’ll wear them more than you think. Bonus: these pieces are all essential for your upcoming vacation whether it’s now or later this summer.
Affordable Colorful Prints to Add to Your Closet Now (Under $120)
Midi wrap dress – This remindes me of a DVF dress, print and all, and at 1/4 of the price.
Palm-print shoes (look at that braided heels!) – Sam Edelman heels are my favorite summer, heeled sandals (they’re COMFORTABLE!)
Embroidered-sleeve top – This top looks so much for expensive than it is and would look amazing with jean shorts.
Tropical-print jumpsuit – This will whisk you off to an exotic beach, for sure.
Bold ruffle skirt – the colors speak for themselves, so keep it simple on top with a plain tank.
