Classic Wardrobe Pieces (That Are On Sale!)
I have been purging a LOT lately. I think this is what they call nesting but I should probably start focusing on they baby’s room, eh? But, I need to get my act together–namely my closet, first. I pride myself on being able to give my closet a good cleaning (see my post on it, here) and lately, I’ve been in a real purge mode. I can’t wear a lot of my normal clothes (shop maternity here) which has me wanting to get rid of stuff I don’t think I’ll wear again. But there are some classic wardrobe pieces in there that I’m holding on to because they’ve served me well over the years. And right now–ALL of the pieces that I own are on sale!
waffle-knit sweater ($75) – I love the waffle knit texture but also the versatile color (wore here last winter)
silk cami ($45) – I can’t sing the praises of this silk cami enough (see three ways to style it here)
high-rise stretch jeans ($40) – I have the faded black wash and I’ve had them since 2018 and they’re still a staple!
linen tank ($36) – You know how much I love linen and I so wish I could’ve fit into this top all summer (worn here)
boots ($141) – Ok, fine, these still fit but I have TWO pairs and they’re like an affordable version of the ACNE boots. I have had my first pair since 2017! (shop more boots here)
jean jacket ($62) – The oversized denim jacket is life. And a closet staple.
silky cotton top ($40) – It’s like a fancy cotton but it’s great for office (even home office) or with denim.
cotton-linen blazer ($87) – I’ve had this since last year and it’s a comfy, chic blazer (and a great way to try the oversized blazer trend!)–size down!
linen jumpsuit ($66) – Wore this all summer until my growing stomach stopped me–I love it!
cashmere mockneck ($171) – This was my absolute favorite sweater of 2019–I always receive compliments on it and it’s the nicest cashmere in my closet (not exaggerating).
white jeans ($40) – I’ve had these jeans since 2017 and they’re stiff (no stretch), flattering, and chances are, if I’m wearing white jeans, it’s these I have on. (shop more white jeans here)

Gorgous recommendations! Quick question about the silk cami – does it need to be dry cleaned or can you wash it by hand?
You can wash it by hand (I have) but I find it needs a really good steaming/ironing after you hang dry it!
