Bobbi Brown Luxe Matte Lipstick Review + A Much Needed Pop of Color
I’ve never been a huge makeup person. I find something I like and I stick to it. I might try a new product here and there, but for the most part, I go with the tried and true products. However, I love a good lipstick and was very excited to try Bobbi Brown’s new luxe matte lip color. Talk about a lipstick that stays put–I basically had to scrub the color off! That’s always my biggest annoyance with lip color–I need one that stays on my lips for more than an hour; I never reapply after I eat or drink (I just forget) and two hours into my day or night, the color is off. Well, not anymore – this lipstick packs a punch and stays on your lips. I already have traditional reds and pink-reds so I wanted to go for a fun coral–a shade that I think it flatters most skin tones. (Buying lipstick on Bloomingdales is easier than most because it shows the shade on several skin tones). Other colors I’d love to try: On Fire, Red Carpet, and Nude Reality.
