Another Closet Makeover with Inspired Closets Chicago
I am SO excited and honored to bring you another post with Inspired Closets Chicago. If you’re new around here or found me via googling “closet makeover chicago company,” welcome! I was you a mere six years ago.
Back in 2018, we had just moved to the suburbs and had some home renovation projects ahead of us in our 100 year old Tudor home. We were going to take on a major renovation of our master bed/bath and gut/expand the bathroom and add a walk-in closet. I did my due diligence and obtained quotes from three companies (including the famous California Closets). One quote was from Inspired Closets Chicago and they even came to my home to check it out–instantly I was impressed. And I was most impressed with their design and price (it was half the price of CC). I documented my journey and they ended up reaching out because I was just singing their praises here on the blog (and instagram). Check out the post here.
I love these types of relationships I’ve formed due to blogging. I can spread the good word about local companies! So anyway, when I moved this past year, I had a huge, empty space that I knew would be great for a closet. We live in another old house and closet space is minimal in our bedroom. There is a loft bedroom above the garage (we call it “the studio” because the previous owner painted up there) and I work up there. It’s also a spare bedroom. But what it has is a huge closet type space and I knew I would make that my separate closet. I’m ok with the fact that it’s not in my bedroom.
Inspired Closets Chicago gave my closet a much needed makeover
As usual Inspired Closets Chicago came in, listened to my needs, and built an awesome space within the confines of the somewhat unusual space (slanted ceilings, not totally a box). They’re amazing because they can work with you and your home and your budget–no matter how old the structure! As a result, we have a space that’s fully customized to me, beautiful, and most importantly: functional.
The service is totally white glove from measurement, 3D design rendering, choosing your selections, and installation. I cannot recommend Inspired Closets Chicago enough–and tell Mike I said hi when you book them! There are also three Inspired Closets Chicago locations now in the Chicagoland area: Oak Brook (I’ve been to this showroom), The Mart in River North, and Vernon Hills (opening end of month).
Please note that I am a paying customer but Inspired Closets Chicago did give me a discount. However, I found them and was a full paying customer before this project. Please mention my name and receive 15% off your project (that’s HUGE!). They offer a free in-home design consultation (again, huge).
And if you’re local, please check out Neat Method North Shore. Lauren and her team were so incredibly helpful and they offered a free consult and $100 off if you book with them!
