Add Some Flare (See Jane Resurrect)
If you’re anything like me, you have fond memories of boot-cut and flare jeans. Doesn’t it seem like just yesterday that Seven Jeans were new to the market and you were hoarding as many pairs as you could? We’ve been through lots of styles over the years: skinny, wide-leg, cropped, rolled, boyfriend and lately, I’ve started to wonder what happened to the standard boot-cut and flare jeans of my youth. Perhaps this is the prime time to resurrect one of my favorite pairs from high school.

I know a lot of you never stopped wearing flare/boot-cut jeans. For me, however, I’ve been way too addicted to skinny jeans for the past five years and it’s time to get back to basics.
Boot cut jeans seem classic to me, maybe because thats all anyone was wearing when I was in high school. I sound old lol.
Flare jeans just balance me out better! In skinnies (if I don't have boots on) I look like a pear on a stick! (weird imagery)
I need to find a pair!
I haven't worn flare jeans in ages. Maybe it's about time I need to look into buying a pair or two
LOVE fare jeans…the wider the better for me!!
Stop by and say Hello:)
Check out my 30×30 Remixโฆ.Letโs do this!โฅ
Yep…I've been too addicted to skinny jeans too..I wear them 80% of the time I have jeans on…haha…I still have my flares and boot cuts though ๐

Ha totally agree. Think I might need to invest in a new pair! Anlo has great ones, too. XOXO
That top left photo has been my main inspiration lately. I can't stop staring at it! The jeans, the leather coat. It's simply perfect. I'm with you. Ditching the skinnies and going with the flares for a while! Those E&J jeans are per-fect.
me and you both!! im obsessed with flare i think they flatter my body the best…Ive purchased three this season! xo
ive always had a 2 pairs stashed away, skinnies are always in heavy rotation, but i love wide leg/boot!
I love the wider leg of Spring. Flair probably wont be on my body (kind of hip-py) but I would love a pair of wide legs.
PS having a Puerto Rico print giveaway, I hope you stop by.
Those Elizabeth & James Jeans are fabulous!
I just discovered your blog! I love it!!!! Newest follower.

I just recently bought a new pair of flared jeans from Gilt actually ๐ … can't wait to get them hemmed so I can start wearing them!

I love flare jeans! especially for someone like me who has some hip action going on, the flare helps even things out. I love Gap Sexy Boot Cut, they're the perfect fit/flare ratio ๐
i am totally addicted to skinny jeans…but bringing back some flare sounds fun!
did you ever remember tight-rolling your jeans?? oh those were the days! ๐
They look best with cowboy boots ๐

I've been addicted to my skinny jeans for a long time too. But wide leg jeans have always stayed in my closet and made an appearance from time to time. I'm excited to wear them more often now!

I'm obsessed with flared pants! I did a post on them today, too : ) I love those J. Brand's!
I lived in flare jeans for most of high school and loved them. I recently got a new pair of Sevens flare that I can't wait to try again. I'm thinking with clogs. Maybe too 70s though?
I adore this look but unfortunately, I don't know where all of my middle school jeans disappeared to! I have a pair of bootcuts left over, thankfully… Maybe time to break them out!

I definitely have my fair share of boot cuts, but I either a. lost my flared jeans or b. threw them out. Either way, it's just tragic!! It seems every cut just keeps coming back, so I think I'll be sure to hold on to every pair I purchase! xo

This post just warms my heart. I love a flare and a wide leg and bell bottom. Love beyond love. I have a pair of E&J Stevie's just waiting to get hemmed and I'll be busting them out.
You could totally pull off this look. Girl you've got the gams for it!! I know I keep saying that, but seriously – you DO!
ps-um, i kinda wanna see your whites with those smashing grey boots you wore the other day. but far be it from me to be a micromanager. but i still want to. just sayin

I've always been a fan of the flares. Love them!

I've been pining for flares lately too. Unfortunately, I'm on a moving induced shopping ban (this moving cross-country business sure is pricey!). The only pair of wide-legged jeans that survived up until now is a great pair of trouser cut jeans that have been seeing a lot of wear lately. Once the shopping ban is lifted, I could really go for some big 'ol flares.
Although I love me a good skinny I am dear and true to the flared/boot cut always. Great pics.
Very glad the wide bottom denim are back again.
Elizabeth & James has the best colour in denim

I've been addicted (still am) to skinnies as well. But I've always loved high waisted bootcut jeans. I found THE perfect pair at EmersonMade and blogged about it. They are perfection!
