A Few Recent Shopbop Finds
Happy (almost) Spring! Here in the Chicagoland area, we’re currently experiencing what I like to call “Fake Spring.” The snow has melted, the skies are blue, birds are chirping; it’s upwards of 50 degrees and it feels MAGICAL outside. You might see some midwesterners in shorts, for example. We just know how to appreciate a nice day here!
In the light of some upcoming travels, I started eyeing some spring items. I also take it as an opportunity to do a little purging, which is a big deal for me. As you know, I love to hold onto things but I also realize sometimes it’s better to let go and see them off to their second life. I’ve been in the mood to purge denim and dresses, in particular. Both are extremely hard for me to let go because I associate them with a specific event or time of my life. There are literally jeans in my closet that I can be like, oh I bought those in 2013 and got pregnant with Harry the next month so I didn’t get to wear them much. Talk about specific, eh?
A Few Recent Shopbop Finds
So anyway, here’s a roundup of some recent buys!
AGOLDE jeans (shop more AGOLDE here) – I have been loving my straight-leg denim, the AGOLDE Lana cut in particular so I sprung for a lighter wash. If you’re scared of non-high rise jeans, don’t be afraid of a mid-rise–it’s extremely flattering!
Free People square tank (shop more FP here) – An awesome layering piece in a pretty beige color.
Mansur Gavriel low mules (shop more low heel sandals here) – Bought these on super sale at Shopbop but now they’re gone! Still a nice find, though.
Staud dress (shop more midi dresses here) – Fits like a DREAM. This dress will get a lot of wears this spring, summer, and beyond…I can already tell I really love her.
Zimmermann dress (shop more Zimmermann here) – I bought this on a re-sale site so technically it’s not from Shopbop but it’s still currently on there! And it was supposed to arrive before Miami….but it didn’t so now i need to find another occasion!
Mara Hoffman chinos (shop more MH here)- Perfectly boyfriend-y and I love these so much. I love the length, the straight leg, and the pleats!
Slvrlake jeans (shop more white jeans here) – I also love split hem pants–it’s the 2000s girl in me. They’re a fresh upgrade to a classic, white jean.
