Interior Define Couches Review Pt 2
As I’ve delved into interiors and started sharing more here on the blog and our living room has been my real pride and joy. I picked out these couches right after we moved in; we had freshly painted walls, the old fireplace (see the before & after here), and all I knew was that I wanted navy couches in the room. They were my starting point and from there, it grew. You might remember when I stopped into their showroom to pick out the couches (see that post that highlights the process here); these couches were worth the wait.
I’ve received a lot of questions about the material and comfort. These are the Caitlin couches (87″), single cushion, in the Midnight heavy cloth (not a child/pet friendly fabric, but it’s dark and so far so good). The couch is much deeper than I anticipated and I can easily curl up and read a book on it. One thing to note, is that this room isn’t for watching TV and lounging on the couch. It’s a gathering room and company sits on the couch to chat rather than kick back and watch the big game. So, yes, they’re comfortable, but they aren’t the kind of couches we’re sinking into while completely horizontal–if you want that kind of couch, go for a comfy Walters sectional. (The Maxwell slipcovered couch was my runner up choice, by the way.) Also, I’d totally get another Interior Define couch for the house, by the way. A comfy sectional for the sunroom may be calling my name…(that’s where we watch TV upstairs, but we do most of our lounging in the basement!).
PS Havenly helped me with the design and are a great partner to Interior Define, so incorporating the couches into the design was super simple.
*Thanks to Interior Define for partnering with this post!

How beautiful! The table is also very stunning! Thank you for sharing!
Looks great! Can you share the source for your fireplace screen?
Hi! Unfortunately, I don’t have one. The previous owners left it for us. I looked for a brand and couldn’t find one – my guess is that it’s pretty old. It’s VERY heavy, too 🙂

Can you share the sources of your pillow? Love them!
I picked out those couches right when we moved in we had freshly painted walls, the vintage hearth see the earlier than & after here and all I knew was that I wanted army couches in the room. They have been my start line and from there, it grew. You would possibly don’t forget when I stopped into their showroom to select out the couches. Love the look of your beautiful living room! Would you mind sharing where your matching arm chairs are from? Would LOVE to find something similar for my new apt!
Hi! I”m considering ordering the Caitlyn in a corner sectional. I would love to know how yours has held up, and if you consider it comfy and/or sturdy enough to hold up to a family living room. Also, which depth do you have in your Caitlyns? It’s such a big investment- I need all the opinions I can get!
hi hi! Ours are in the formal living room so it’s not a “lived-in” couch like a sectional, but we’ve had it for two years and so far so good! It’s comfy and I like the high back. The length is 90″ but I actually don’t know what the depth is offhand…might need to take a tape measure to mine! (our navy sectional in our basement is lazyboy!)
I think the idea is nice. I like the way you placed the furniture in the room. It looks cosy and must feel like home. I will write an essay for the blog on https://quality-essay.com/senior-papers.html about the interior design ideas. I hope you don’t mind. In another case, please let me know.
