Artichoke + Pesto Pizza (See Jane Cook)

Pizza is easily one of my favorite foods that I don’t make nearly enough.  When you buy pre-made dough (from Trader Joe’s, for example), it’s so easy to create your own!  I had an abundance of basil, so made my own pesto to top the pizza and added some favorite ingredients: marinated artichokes, red onion and fresh mozzarella.  Bon appรฉtit! 

(*disclaimer:  I find the best way to bake these pre-made pizza dough is at 450 degrees on a pizza stone for 8 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 and transfer to a baking sheet for another 5 minutes…but that may just be my oven)

  1. I love using the TJs crust and brushing it w/ EVOO and throwing it on the grill! I brush the other side, flip it, remove it, add ingredients and put it back on to finish it off.
