The Easiest Fall Trends (See Jane Wear)

Before you come at me with pitchforks fact that my coat has (faux) fur and it’s still early September, hear me out (it’s still hot outside, I get it): this jacket is actually quite light.  And breathable.  And oversized.  And perfect for piling on the layers once set actually gets cold outside.  Military jackets are something I can’t resist once fall clothing hits and when I saw this at Nordstrom a few weeks back, it was no different.

And because I can’t resist trying the new trends in the fall while at Nordstrom, even while 9 months pregnant, I knew I had to try a pair of mules.  I know they started to make their debut on the scene a year ago but it was a trend I was slower to adopt–and I have no idea why…they’re so comfortable!  (Perhaps it’s the swollen feet talking.)  So many great designers at Nordstrom are featuring them for fall–from Phillip Lim to Sole Society.  Lastly, I kept it simple underneath, with a monochromatic uniform of neutrals and stripes; it’s fresh and classic.
