Simple With a Statement (See Jane Wear)

I couldn’t resist it–I bought this Gucci belt at Nordstrom as a little birthday gift to myself.  (FYI: it’s men’s and to get my size, I measured at my waist where the belt would most likely hit and converted that to inches…I’m wearing an 85). It’s just a belt, yes, but it’s such a statement that it looks great with the simplest of outfits.  Plus, a chunky, textured turtleneck sweater?  I have yet to meet one I don’t love and this Madewell sweater from Nordstrom is no different (also love this AYR one and this fair isle turtleneck); throw on your favorite jeans and some booties and you look like a street style star–along with the statement belt, of course.  I have a feeling this outfit and iterations of it will be on repeat because we’re in store for a looooong winter.  Better stock up on this stuff now before spring/resort hits the stores (here in Chicago, it’s cold until May).
