Scuffed Boots (See Jane Wear)
My favorite boots from last year are in dire need of a shining and/or buffing. I wore them tirelessly through a slushy winter and it apparently shows. I love these boots because they’re dead ringers for Loeffler Randall’s classic Matilde boots, which I wanted badly a couple years back; instead, I paid a fraction of what they cost and bought these Steven by Steve Madden beauties. I wore these boots for the first time this season when out to brunch with some friends this past weekend. They’re my go-to pair when I’m running around the city during the day; they make me feel instantly put together (even when I’m not) and they’re comfortable to boot! Pun intended.

I love those boots (and yes a dead look a-like to the LR, and WAAAY better in cost!) I didn't buy them last year, and was just recently eyeing the maroonish color that is new this year….although I am loving how 'worn' your browns look!!!! I have a need for brown!!!

YES! This outfit is pretty much perfect.
I got a pair of boots resoled and they cleaned them up a bunch too, and it really made them look much more fit to wear for another season, though they're still kind of scuffy. But that's just what happens to the things I love, I love them right into the ground. Maybe that's why I don't have a boyfriend…hmm…
