Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2024

I make it a point to highlight the Nordstrom Anniversary sale every year (see the past sale coverage here). Over time, I’ve witnessed significant changes in how the sale operates—quite a contrast to when I first started shopping it at 18! The event now emphasizes more everyday essentials and private label items, with fewer high-end designer exclusives. If you have a lower card status with Nordstrom, it’s also a bit of a bummer because you have to wait to shop but luckily in the last few years, they’ve stocked it well.

None of these changes are necessarily negative; they simply represent a shift from what I initially knew about the Anniversary Sale. There are still plenty of fantastic deals to be found. Typically, the items I select tend to sell out quickly since I lean towards less basic/everyday choices, and I really try to find the brands I love and know and snag them while they’re on sale.
