How gorgeous is this tree?  It’s in the entrance area of the Waldorf Astoria Chicago–a great backdrop.

Speaking of Chicago, you just can’t get away living here without some great snow boots.  Don’t try to avoid it–you’ll succumb eventually.  These LL bean boots are my favorite (growing up, we’d wear them out to the barn to feed the horses) but I also love a good Sorel or Sperry boot, too.

What’s your winter boot of choice?  Warmer climates, you don’t have to answer–we’ll all just be jealous of you.
