Best Coffee Shops in Chicago
I always receive DMs about my favorite spots in Chicago so I thought I’d round up my go-to coffee shops. So, go on and get your caffeine fix while I share the best coffee in Chicago. Bonus: these places are also instagram-worthy!
Ipsento – By far, my favorite latte in the city of Chicago. Plus, the breakfast sandwiches are delicious and named after my favorite classic authors. My drink choice: Ipsento Latte (coconut milk, cayenne, and honey!)
Caffe Streets – Oh, my old stomping grounds. Right in the heart of Wicker Park on Division, it’s a great place to pop in while you’re walking around. My drink choice: homemade chai latte
Heritage Bicycle General Store – Very instagrammable with an RV on the porch and plenty of seating outside when the weather turns. Bonus: they can fix your bike, too. My drink choice: iced coffee on the patio.
The Allis – Go for the beautiful and instagrammable scene – stay for the coffees and teas. My drink choice: classic cup of coffee with splash of cream and sugar cube.
Intelligentsia – Yes, it’s a chain, but it started here in Chicago. Not going to lie, I really miss their pour-overs. My drink choice: cortado or pour-over coffee.
Reprise Coffee – Ok, FINE, this one is in the ‘burbs near me, but it gives me my old city coffee shop fix. I’ve even holed up there for a day of work; you’d never know you were in a sleepy suburb, I swear. My drink of choice: Lavender latte
I love Heritage too!! I just love the vibes of that coffee shop! And of course the Allis is so beautiful!
