Jacket season is my favorite in Chicago (and it’s a good thing, too–you need to wear them 3/4 of the year here).  It’s your top layer and there are so many to choose from.  A jacket just completes the look and makes one look put together.  Now, here we have this bold, yet classic, checked Ann Taylor jacket.  Don’t limit yourself into thinking a bolder jacket like this can only be worn occasionally–it’s meant to be seen!  Wear it with all black and a pop of camel, as seen below OR add seasonal tones like these forest green twill pants and a classic, wrap sweater.
