Since I work for myself, I’m on the go a LOT (meetings, photoshoots, running my kids around) and no two days look the same. Sometimes I wear yoga pants because I’m working out and then running around with the kids. Some days, I’m wearing jeans and a blouse and want to rock a kitten heel (case in point). While other days–especially during the spring and summer, I’m all about a dress. I love a good pair of shoes and that’s why I’m so excited to be partnering with Louise et Cie, a fantastic shoe brand, to put my own mom style spin on two of their new styles.
Don’t know what to wear to your lunch meeting? I have an idea and you won’t believe how easy it is: jeans and a blouse (and hint: it’s already in your closet!). Pair them with these white Louise et Cie sling-backs for next level chic-ness. These kitten heels look so much more expensive than they are and add so much understated style to jeans and a blouse–plus they’re comfortable to walk in!
Wearing dresses and sandals during the warmer months are my weakness; we only get about five months of this weather here in Chicago so I take full advantage. I live in block-heeled sandals; they’re comfortable to walk in and give me a little height. I love this Louise et Cie pair because of the snakeskin detail (as you might have realized from my skirts and tees, I love snakeskin accents)–it gives it a little edge while still being classic.
