My Weekend Winter Uniform

My no-fail tip for looking pulled together (when you feel anything but) during the winter?  All black.  Add some contrasting accessories and you’ll be surprised how chic you look without really trying.  That’s why this is my weekend winter uniform.  I have about 0.3 seconds to get ready for brunch with the family on weekends (my go-to is Beatrix before 9AM–the kids love it and so do Eric and I) because I’m too busy chasing the boys around and getting my bag together; so I throw on black on black, whatever boots I’m feeling (it was slushy out this day, so #beanboots it is) and accessories of your choice (black works, too, but I was feeling taupe).  Plus, another layer looks chic atop this, too – I also throw on my teddy coat sometimes!
