Best Everyday Outfit
Remember this outfit from Real Outfit Recap a few weeks ago? Here it is, back in the flesh: my best everyday outfit. I love how the yellow sling-backs tie back to the gold belt buckle – they totally complement each other. Also, if I’m ever in a pinch and unsure what to wear, this is it. It’s a season-less look and is comprised of pieces that I personally wear all year round. Of course, you can easily change out shoes and accessories for the season but if you’re looking for my no-brainer, “I tried” look – here it is.
Just bought the same blazer, thinking it would look great for travel days. Looks great! Now Im super psyched for it to arrive….

I have the cotton JCrew Factory version of this sweater blazer (because merino wool makes me too itchy). It’s fantastic! Every time I wear it people compliment it. I love it with the lacy cami and will totally copy your look 🙂

Hi Tracey! Mine is the merino sweater blazer from the fall but this spring version is the same fabrication! I bought that cami several months ago because of your recommendation. I’m obsessed! I wear it under everything (blazers, cardis, leather jacket). But I cannot get that J.crew blazer to work for me! I’ve even tried the Factory version. I thought it ran big, but when I sized down the sleeves were waaaay too short. I absolutely love the look of it and wish I could figure it out! I’m on a the hunt for a similar option at a different brand..
Oh noooo – such a bummer about the J Crew blazer! I felt like it ran pretty big (and stretched a bit, too, because of the merino fabrication). Could you just push the sleeves up on the smaller one? I do that with all my blazers anyway because sleeves are usually short on me. (yay about the cami, though!)
