How to Incorporate Snakeskin Into Your Wardrobe

Snakeskin is a loud and proud print.  With animal prints all the rage over the last couple seasons, I feel like snakeskin is finally shining in a big way this fall.  It can be rather intimidating to incorporate it into your wardrobe, but I promise, you’ll love the pop that it adds to an outfit.  My advice?  Start slow; a little bit goes a long way.  No need to overhaul your life covered in snakeskin.  Rather, add a sprinkling here and there and I guarantee you won’t tire of it.  This Everlane pair is holy grail (HG) status to me.  Why?  Because it’s my old favorite silhouette: the Boss boot (see it here).  It has a small heel, pointed toe and gives me Acne-vibes for a fraction of the price.  This bootie looks amazing with both jeans and dresses alike.  I’ve had my suede pair for two years now and I still love them.

PS While footwear is a fun and easy way to try out the trend, don’t forget clothing!  I absolutely love my Zara snakeskin midi skirt from last year (seen here) and the $5 H&M patterned tee from spring (seen here)
