Tie-Sleeve Sweater

I first tried a tie-sleeve sweater out last fall and soon realized that it’s a great way to dabble in the whole ‘statement sleeve’ movement that’s happening right now.  When I saw this Madewell sweater at Nordstrom, I knew it had to be mine for fall (it also comes in several colors – that burgundy is awesome, too).  Tie-sleeves are fun, flirty and don’t get caught in your lunch as easily as their more dramatic bell sleeve cousins.  For the tie-sleeve, it’s about the little details – and that’s it.  I kept it simple for this look (can you ever go wrong with simple jeans and camel pumps?) but the sweater would as equally chic with a wide-leg crop and sock booties or a mini skirt with boots.
