Easy Christmas Centerpiece Arrangement (See Jane DIY)

I discovered the easiest way to decorate my house without a.) breaking the bank and b.) breaking my back.  I keep my decor simple because I think that the best Christmas decorations are the ones that you acquire over the years.  Since I’m at the beginning of my decoration tenure, I decided I wanted greenery that I could stick in some vases so my house smelled like a forest for the remainder of December.

I bought a bunch of holiday greens (they include various branches and they smell delicious) for about $8 and winterberry for $10 (all at Whole Foods).  I spent less than $20 filling about 7 vases within my house; if that’s not a deal, I don’t know what is.  White vases really compliment the red and green and you can easily find them at consignment and second-hand stores.  Then, compliment with simple gold candles (I bought all these at Target for than than $3 each), et voila!  You’ve started your own decor tradition (that is, until you have a whole attic full of decorations).
