The Perfect Midi Dress

Chances are, you’ve seen this dress around the ol’ blogosphere a few times.  And while I don’t aspire to be wearing what everyone else wears, I succumbed.  I caved.  I couldn’t resist a great midi dress.  I don’t own a ton of Free People but they’ve really been nailing the midi dress lately (and it’s clear I love midi dresses in the summer).  Eric calls it my ‘sexy Amish’ dress and I can’t say I disagree with that – it’s low-cut but modest and makes me feel instantly put together.  A few notes about this dress, though – it runs big, the material is thicker than you think, and it’s pretty long for a midi (I’m 5’9″ but if you’re shorter, it’d be a gorgeous maxi dress on you!)
