Bun in the Oven (See Jane Bump)

ASOS sweater, ASOS coat, Old Navy chambray shirt, J Brand jeans, Gap booties (old but similar)

Maybe you’ve noticed all the baggy sweaters I’ve been wearing–or perhaps you’ve picked up on the fact that I have been avoiding skirts (they just don’t fit right at the moment).  The cat’s out of the bag; I’m 17 weeks pregnant.  I’m still admittedly in a state of disbelief but even so, we, along with everyone in our lives, are so excited.  And if I’m being perfectly honest, we’re also a bit scared (is that alright to admit?).

So, what’s different?  My pants hardly fit (I’ve been starting to use a belly band) and my bump is only sometimes noticeable (mostly at the end of the day/post-meal).  Otherwise, I’m feeling good and enjoying this second trimester energy spurt that I’ve heard so much about.
Thanks so much for your kind words on instagram earlier today–it means the world to Eric and me!  Jerome is going to the the best big brother, right?!
