I’m not sure, why, but elements of this outfit brings me back to my days at an all-girls high school. We’d pair our navy skirt with either a solid or patterned button down oxford and sometimes a nubby sweater or classic blazer on top (school emblem in tact, of course). There is a significant difference, though–our skirts definitely weren’t this short, unless, of course, we gave it a good roll at the waist before heading out to the mall (to buy clothes for the weekend) or to check out the hunks over at the all-boys school. …Or maybe this outfit reminds me of my youth because I’m wearing a kids’ top again (this is getting ridiculous).

I'm impressed that you managed to find something to fit you from Crewcuts! I'm 5'4 and a size 0-2 with a full B and I've never managed to find anything in the girls' section. I'm convinced that the designers know that petite women would try and squeeze into the clothing, and therefore cut the 14s juuuuust enough so that a woman with boobs wouldn't be able to fit into anything. It's so frustrating … but seeing this sweater on you makes me want to swing by for another chance! Love this look.

@Micaela – you should really try it out! I'm 5'9" with a pretty standard B cup and while I feel like the sweater is a bit cropped on me, I think that J Crew sizes (overall) are just getting bigger and bigger. I'm a lot bigger than all the petites who shop at crewcuts and I don't think I could even fit into their kids sizes a few years back (and I'm still the same size) so give it a whirl!
