Stretch (See Jane Wear)

Zara leather jacket, Gap top, Old Navy skirt, Enzo Angiolini boots, Karen Walker sunglasses

I told myself that no matter how appealing, I was going to lay off buying pencil skirts since I don’t have to wear such formal pieces work my new job.  However, once I laid my eyes on this stretchy, little gem of a skirt, all bets were off.  The skirt has more of an edge that your typical, tailored pencil skirt which is why I decided it was a good purchase.  I foresee many more wears out of this into the winter with tights and maybe a fur vest.  (A rule of thumb before I purchase anything is I imagine wearing it least two or three different ways–it helps me buy things with a little longevity.)

  1. Anna, I love this outfit!! You look awesome – super edgy & fun! The skirt is amazing on you, and I am loving the boots! Def not your typical pencil skirt! The sunnies are perfecto on you, too! There, did I just name basically every item you're wearing? 😉 In summary: LOVE! xo.

  2. Definitely one of my favorite outfits of yours! Loving that skirt and cannot believe it's from Old Navy. I have been so impressed with their collection this fall!
Hope that the new job is going well! It sounds like it's so much fun! 🙂

  3. Looking great, this skirt is the perfect mix of casual/dressy -you will def get more wear out of it! And is the jacket new? I am dying for a brown one in the style but am striking out everywhere!

  4. Love this! So craving a leather jacket like that – fabulous.

How's the new gig?? Have heard so much about Trunk Club lately (just read your original announcement post). I've worked in menswear for years & love it, there's something magical about men's apparel. Working with male customers is a lot more fun as well! 🙂

  5. I recently just found this blog among others and I've been going through all old posts. This outfit is amazing and I have been looking for a skirt exactly like it. Since it is sold out I knew what to look for and hit up eBay. Just got a steal on it so thank you! Keep up the amazing outfit posts. Loving them!
