Feels Like Fall (See Jane Wear)

Clearly, it’s not fall yet, but the weather has some other ideas.  It was so cool out today that it really threw me for a loop.  Coincidence would have it that Refinery29 Chicago asked me to pick out five must-haves for fall.  Here are a few outfits that I wore showcasing a few of the items (you’ll be seeing them again, come fall, I’m sure) like red pants and military-inspired outerwear while doing some major mixing and matching with other items currently in my closet.

J Crew sweater, Pitaya red jeans (similar), Dolce Vita loafers, Chloe bag, EJ sunglasses
Old Navy sweater, vintage skirt, F21 necklace, J Crew shoes, EJ sunglasses
J Crew skirt, H&M shirt and belt, F21 necklace, Old Navy vest

  1. I love the vest and the red pants outfits, but I am really looking forward to wearing an outfit like your short-sleeved sweater and skirt combo. I have all the pieces, but I can't seem to make it work. I'll get it by fall 😉

  2. Love Refinery 29 and live in Chicago and saw you on it. Love your style and am now following your Chicago daily looks. Your background in ur pics remind me of mine 🙂

  3. Those red pants are adorable on you but I am SO in love with the last look!! Gorgeous, gorgeous! That vest is so awesome. I must check our old navy again – last I was there they didn't have any!

  4. you look so pretty, and i'm happy that red will be a perfect transition color from summer to fall… that means i get to wear my favorite pair for the rest of the year!

  5. Just found your blog, and how could I have been missing it all this time! Gorgeous, you and your style are gorgeous! Thanks for making the interwebs more lovely. I'll be stopping back 🙂

  6. So cute! Great Fall outfit ideas! I've been searching for the perfect pair of red jeans (at a reasonable price) and have really been struggling. I may have to just break down and buy designer since it looks like a style that's going to be sticking around past summer.

  7. I was SO HAPPY for you when I saw the Refinery29 email in my inbox! You should have been featured in the blogger story a month ago, it's unfortunate that our schedules didn't work out.

This is actually a much more amazing and impressive feature since you have 5 photos all to yourself.

  8. Love your style, therefore I'm glad I found your blog 🙂

I've been eyeing that vest since it came out and after seeing how fab you styled it I bought it on my lunch hour. Can't wait to wear it.
