April Showers (See Jane Wear)

H&M blazer, BB Dakota lace top, Club Monaco skirt, Rebecca Minkoff bag (via Gilt), J Crew shoes (via eBay), UO sunglasses

I had a bridal shower this past Saturday and although temperatures were on the chilly side, I was determined to dress in spring clothes and lose the tights once and for all.  I wanted to wear something feminine and light, so I opted for soft colors and romantic fabrics like chiffon and lace.  The bridal shower was my first and it was so much fun (it was held at Jane’s in Chicago…how appropriate!).  It was followed by my bachelorette party that evening where the fun continued long into the wee hours of the night.  I’m just so grateful to my friends and family for hosting and attending all the events on Saturday–I had such a great time seeing everyone and letting loose.  And, let’s just say I rode a mechanical bull.

How was your weekend?

  1. Okay, first you look GORGEOUS, this outfit is so, so pretty on you! And second, I styled pretty much the exact same outfit on the weekend but then decided that wearing it with tights made it lose something, and decided to wait until I could wear it with bare legs and nude shoes. TOO funny. Glad to hear you had a fun weekend – love that you rode a mechanical bull! Ha! Again, you look SO pretty here, miss Anna! xo.

  2. I wish there were a word for my mouth dropping open… I absolutely love this outfit! It is the perfect mix for a bridal shower, and you just look so beautiful in that pink lipstick!

    xo L.

  3. This outfit is so cute! Your skirt is so beautiful, I'm actually in love with it I think. I'm going to have to check out Club Monaco. We only have one in the city and I haven't been there in ages.

And yay for riding a mechanical bull! I've never done it but I've been tempted before. Very tempted.

  4. haha- my weekend was great, I wore the same dress and tights for 2 days straight pretty much 🙂
    I adoooore your sunglasses!

  5. Love this ensemble. Skirt = fabulous. Jacket = want it!
It's not a good time until somebody rides a mechanical bull 😉
Did you happen to notice how warm it got late last evening? Divine! Too bad it didn't last 🙁

  6. I love the idea of you dressed in such a sweet outfit with all these pastels and riding a mechanical bull!! Good for you! That's what bachlorette parties are for! I'm glad to hear you had fun. Now hopefully the weather catches up with your wardrobe and you all get some spring weather soon!

  7. I absolutely love this outfit. I have a flow-y blush skirt that I haven't worn yet but you've totally inspired me.

Also, did you see that B.Jones used your photo today? How cool is that??

  8. Oh, WOW this is one of my favorite outfits seen around the blog world – this is so perfect! Obviously, you were a knock out at the Bridal shower. 😉

  9. I love that blazer and skirt! I love that you dress for the weather you want it to be, I do the same thing. I'm all about dressing for spring right now. So glad you had a great shower and bachelorette party! Hilarious about the mechanical bull!
