Day Off (See Jane Wear)

J Brand jeans, Steven Alan top (via GILT, sign up here), Burberry trench, Bakers shoes, Rebecca Minkoff bag

As much as I wanted to loaf on the couch yesterday, I went out for a bit in order to distract myself from the dreaded ‘Sunday Blues.’  It’s no surprise that a little fresh air and walking around can do wonders for your mood and ultimately, I’m glad I peeled myself off the couch.  Minimal makeup, an oxford shirt and jeans–all you need for a day off.

Also, if you follow me on Twitter, you might have seen me talk about the Refinery29 Style Blogger challenge video I shot a month ago.  Well, it’s now live and can be seen here.   If you like what you see, be sure to vote for me (click the heart near my name).

How was your weekend?

  1. Such a perfect weekend outfit.

I have such a blogger crush on your outfits, photos, sweetness, writing – everything! I am just feeling the need to express my love for your blog this a.m. Sorry for my cheesiness!

My weekend was great! Did similar activities – brunched, had many coffees, enjoyed SUNLIGHT. Thank goodness the Spring has arrived.

    Have a swell Monday!

  2. Your makeup looks so natural and pretty. I love this weekend look on you. You look really comfortable but still completely put together. I LOVE the video, Anna! Your bold lip makeup look was fabulous. Good luck, I hope you win!!!

  3. I totally gave into to the Sunday Blues! slept late, read magazines and lounged on couch pretty much all day. But I did feel like I was coming down with something…better safe than sorry! I always feel guilty for taking a lazy day – how silly is that?!

  4. Adorable for out running around! easy but looks put together! I voted for you, not only do I love your style the best, I thought You accomblished your task the best.

  5. Love this look! Chic, classic, simple and very well put together. I have a Burberry trench on my wishlist. So far I have a couple from Banana Republic and J.Crew (both of which I love) – still not a Burberry. You and Anh from 9to5 look so pretty in your Burberrys!

  6. @sabrina – thanks! i bought the trench when it was 30% all burberry at bloomingdales a couple years back. i've never regretted it as it's always in rotation and perfect for spring and fall (and a chilly summer day)!

  7. I am not a crazy, responding to your comment within a few minutes… I just happen to be online:)
